Tata Sierra EV Showcased at NADA 2026, Pre-Bookings Open in Nepal

Following the strong reception of the Punch EV Facelift and the new Tiago EV at the recently concluded NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, Tata Motors has brought its next major electric SUV to Nepal.

The all-new Tata Sierra EV has been showcased at the NADA Auto Show 2026, with pre-bookings now open. However, pricing and the final Nepal-specific specifications are yet to be announced by Sipradi Trading, Tata Motors' authorised distributor in Nepal.

The Sierra nameplate is already familiar to Nepalese SUV enthusiasts, with the original model gaining a reputation for its distinctive design and rugged character. The new Sierra brings the nameplate back as a modern, premium SUV, while the EV version adds an all-electric powertrain and extensive technology.

For Nepal, the 75 kWh battery version will be available. The 75 kWh Sierra EV is offered with both rear-wheel drive and dual-motor QWD (Quad Wheel Drive). The RWD version produces 238 PS and 315 Nm, while the QWD version delivers 306 PS and 504 Nm. The QWD version can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds with Boost Mode.

The 75 kWh RWD version offers a claimed MIDC range of up to 665 km, while DC fast charging can add up to 263 km of claimed range in 15 minutes.

The Sierra EV features a distinctive design with a closed-off front fascia, full-width LED lighting, flush door handles and aerodynamic alloy wheels. It also offers 205 mm of ground clearance.

Inside, the SUV gets a triple-screen dashboard, along with features such as ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, powered tailgate, wireless charging and a 12-speaker JBL audio system with Dolby Atmos. A head-up display, digital key, connected-car features, OTA updates and e-Valet parking are also available.

Safety and driver assistance features include six airbags, electronic stability control, a 540-degree camera and Level 2+ ADAS, depending on the variant. The Sierra EV also offers 622 litres of boot space, expandable to 1,257 litres with the rear seats folded.

With the Sierra EV now on display at NADA 2026 and pre-bookings underway, the focus now shifts to its Nepal pricing and final specification. Sipradi Trading has yet to announce both, with the 75 kWh battery confirmed for the Nepal market.
